This is the eighth volume in a shojo manga series which brings together alternate versions of characters from other manga by the popular writer/artist collective CLAMP. Drawn together for various reasons, a motley band of travelers traverse the dimensions, searching for the magical feathers which represent the memory and soul of the Princess Sakura. In this installment, the group goes to a jungle world menaced by a mysterious beast which may draw power from one of the feathers. The travelers land in two different groups on the next world, each arriving at the base of one of two warring factions. As they try to find one another, they become drawn into the conflict.
