Author Bio
Judy Delton
Raised in a strict Catholic family during the 1930s and 40s, author Judy Delton has said she spent a lot of her childhood worrying about whether or not she was committing sins and, if so, whether she was facing eternal damnation. Much of Delton's own experiences have been recreated in her "Kitty stories" which follow the life of a Catholic girl from the third grade to high school and are set during the 1930s and 40s. She also drew on her religious background for her young adult novel NEAR OCCASIONS OF SIN which focuses on a devoutly Catholic young woman who finds herself in an unhappy marriage. In addition to these works, Delton is well-known for her Pee Wee Scouts series of books--which have sold over 7.5 million copies.
